Sue - Thanks. Yeah, sometimes it's more natural just to stay in the zone when a child walks in, but then I remember how I felt as a kid. Always good to acknowledge them! ;-)

Rob - So glad you found me, and I'm glad to know you as well! Thanks for the kind words. Looking forward to your future comments/tweets! :-)

Julie - Love your additions!! Absolutely agree with all of those!! We should start a master list. ;-)

Definitely #3, 10, 15, and 21 are my favorites but all are great. Never have too much ego that you can't absorb advice someone wiser has to offer. Another one I love is to stay humble and be grateful every day!

Dave - Excellent additions! I like "b" and "e" best. Thanks for contributing to the list. :-)

Big Ed - Sometimes I get so mad at myself when my performance declines midway through the workout. I want to be STARTING strong all the way through! Then there are other days when I remember cues half way into the workout that make me seem stronger at that point! Thanks for your comment. :-)

I agree with the strength at the beginning of the day's effort and it is important not to blast through and tire just in the first exercise... keep the heart rate up and strength in moderation throughout the workout. Ed from wwww.get-fit-at-home.com

a) sometimes less is more
b) be wary, be cautious, NEVER be afraid
c) for every up there has to be a down
d) sometimes down is just as hard as up
e) try hard to be the person your dog thinks you are

Great list! I love this post.

How about:

28. Pace yourself through a long set so you can finish strong.
29. Stop at the point of diminishing returns
30. Don't drop the kettlebell on the cat
