You've got the snatch bug!! I know you're meant to totally master the clean first, but if you're anything like me you just can't help yourself. My snatch technique is much tidier than my cleans, I can move more weight for more reps. Purely because the thrill of the snatch means that I've done loads more of them - they're addictive!

Speaking of which...I'm off to the gym :D

Sarah,
Keep up the good work. I have the messed up hands from snatches. Nothing beats the feeling of the bell landing right in the top position perfectly.

Daniel,
You are right I know I've overdone it, and I will slow down. (My hands are forcing it as well.) Every time I manage a successful rep, I feel one tiny step closer to my goal. That's why I have to keep at it --partly to make sure I haven't back-tracked, partly to try and move forward. (Ok, that's probably a bit OCD.)
But it's also just FUN!
Will attempt to heed your advice. : )

patience sarah, patience.
remember, you need to practice, practice, practice. the snatch is a very advanced & ballistic exercise. start with learning the high pull and go from there.
they don't call the one-arm snatch the tsar of kettlebell lifts for nothing.
i know you can do it.
